Checks your sync connection, looks for duplicate or oversized spheres, and tests every thumbnail link for broken images.
This copy of the app has no Remote URL set, so it can't sync with the central spreadsheet. Here's the known working URL — click below to restore it automatically, or copy it into the Remote URL field yourself (Tools → Spreadsheet).
Only proposals judged worth building are listed. Each one notes what it costs and why. Mark Yes or No, then produce the sheet for the record.

Fifteen statements, drawn at random from a larger set. Some are true. Some sound true but aren't.
Your job is to call each one. After you answer, you'll see why — and a button that opens the actual document, so you can check it yourself instead of taking anyone's word for it.
Ten questions drawn from the Republic's own published materials and from the founding-era documents they cite. Answers are shown as you go.
Questions about the Republic's position are phrased as "according to the Republic's materials" — they test what the Republic teaches, not contested points of law.
Counts devices, not people — two machines is two counts, and clearing browser data starts a new one. Shift + U opens this at any time.
This cannot be undone. Exporting first is optional — the Clear button works without it.

Your name and state are needed so posts can be addressed to you and sent to your state rather than to everyone. Both are stored on this device only and are never transmitted.
This sends your name, state and email to the Republic so somebody can reply to you. Nothing else on this device is sent, and you will not be added to any list beyond this request.
This turns the spheres on this device into centrally managed ones. Three steps:
Once managed, these tiles are locked against local editing and the sheet becomes the source of truth. Thumbnails must be hosted links, not files on this computer.
Each sphere is a group of tiles, shown as a column with the sphere's name at the top. Every tile is visible and clickable straight away. Hover a sphere to bring it into focus on its own — the others shrink to spinning markers down the left-hand side, and you can hover any of those to switch focus to it. Move away and the normal view returns. Click any tile to open, edit, or paste a link into it. Drag a JPG or PNG image straight onto a tile to set its thumbnail.
What a tile does when clicked depends on its Type — pictures, audio, video, PDFs and documents can all open inside the app. See Tile Types below.
Along the bottom, click + to add a new sphere. Double-click a sphere's tab to remove it, or click a tab to jump straight to that sphere. Click the small ✎ icon next to a sphere's name to rename it — the word "Sphere" is automatically kept in the name no matter what you type. A 🔒 icon instead of ✎ means that sphere is centrally managed and can't be renamed locally.
If you have a lot of spheres, the tab row scrolls sideways and will slowly auto-scroll back and forth on its own so every sphere stays visible — hover your mouse over it to pause the scrolling.
Every tile has a Type, set in the edit window, which decides what happens when you click it. A short hint appears under the Type picker explaining what that type expects in the URL field. Most types open inside the app rather than sending you off to another tab.
Open in a window inside the app:
.mp3, .m4a, .wav or .ogg file. Plays in a small dock at the bottom right and keeps playing while you carry on using the app. Click the ✕ on the dock to stop it..mp4, .webm or .ogv file. Plays with normal controls..pdf. Browsers display these on their own, so nothing extra is needed.Other actions:
mailto: link). Opens a new message; the tile's title becomes the subject line.tel: or sms: link. Most useful on a phone or tablet.Right-click a tile for a menu with the matching action — View Image, Play Audio, Read Note, Open in App — alongside Edit, Rename and Clear.
If something won't display: some websites send a header that forbids being shown inside another page. PDFs and files on Google Drive are usually fine; a file on a locked-down server may refuse. Every media window has an ↗ Open button in its header to open the original in a new tab instead. Also check the link points at the file itself and not at a page describing it — a link ending in .mp3 or .pdf is what these types need.
Tiles from older versions using the retired Video type are converted to YouTube automatically the first time the file is opened.
Tiles you build on your own machine are local — they live only in this browser, on this computer. Publishing them to the master spreadsheet makes them centrally managed, so everyone running the app receives them on their next sync.
Before you start:
Step by step:
sphere, spherename, sid, title, url, type, text, thumb. If everything piled into column A, the paste came through as plain text — undo, and use Edit → Paste special → Paste values only. How to tell it worked: a managed sphere shows a 🔒 beside its name, and its rows appear locked in the Configuration Spreadsheet. Run 🛠️ Tools → 🩺 Troubleshooter to confirm the sync is clean and no duplicates were created.
Worth understanding before you do this: once a sphere is centrally managed, the spreadsheet becomes the source of truth. Those tiles are locked against local editing without the Admin Key, and the next sync will overwrite local changes. Publishing is easy to do and awkward to undo — the way back is to remove the rows from the master sheet, which affects everyone, not just you.
If the columns are meant to go somewhere specific: sphere is which sphere the row belongs to (1, 2, 3, or ad for advertising), spherename is the display name, and sid is the tile slot from 1 to 7. Editing sid by hand is how you rearrange tiles within a sphere from the sheet.
Once a day, on the first launch, the app sends three things to the Republic's own spreadsheet: a random id generated on your device, the app version you are running, and the date. That is all, and it lets the Republic see roughly how many people are using it and how many still need to update.
Your name and your state are never sent. They are written to this device only, exactly as stated elsewhere in this Help. The random id is not derived from anything about you and identifies nobody — clearing your browser data replaces it with a new one.
It sends once per day, not once per launch, so opening the app repeatedly does not add to the count. If the send fails, nothing happens and nothing is shown — the count is not worth interrupting anyone over.
Two buttons sit on the bottom bar, just left of Republic Media Links.
🎖️ Help opens a waiting room where the Military Outreach team can help you contact someone in your state. Enter your name, and you wait in a lobby until somebody lets you in. Your state is added automatically.
📞 Conference Call gives you a phone number and access code for the regular call. You can dial in from any telephone — no smartphone, no internet — or join online instead. Both are the same call.
Each button shows a green or amber dot when it is live, and tells you the next scheduled time when it is not. A dark button means nobody is there yet.
Type your name with the telecom key after it, in the form
Paul - QCall. The button changes to Staff and you join as
moderator. The key is stripped before your name reaches the room — a
display name is visible to everyone inside, so it is never sent.
Turn the lobby on as soon as you are inside. Click the shield icon, Security options, Enable lobby. Jitsi will not let a link do this, so it has to be done by hand each session. Until it is on, anyone with the room name walks straight in.
Be in the room before members are. On the free Jitsi service the first person to join becomes moderator — there are no accounts, so it cannot be anyone else. If a member arrives first, they get moderator and there is no lobby at all. This is a limit of the free service, not of the app.
The counter on the Staff button shows how many people are waiting. A soft double chime plays when somebody arrives — deliberately not the announcement horn, which would be far too much for someone knocking at a door.
The telecom key is separate from the Admin Key on purpose. Manning the outreach room does not require the ability to post announcements or clear the spreadsheet, so it does not grant it.
The app is a single HTML file that runs directly in a browser. Nothing to install, no account to create — open the file and it works.
Minimum versions:
| Browser | Minimum | Released |
|---|---|---|
| Google Chrome | 80 | February 2020 |
| Microsoft Edge | 80 | February 2020 |
| Safari (Mac, iPhone, iPad) | 13.1 | March 2020 |
| Firefox | 74 | March 2020 |
| Opera | 67 | March 2020 |
In short, any browser from spring 2020 onwards. If yours updates itself — and nearly all do — you are well clear of this.
Internet Explorer does not work at all and cannot be made to. Microsoft retired it in 2022. Use Edge instead, which is already on every Windows machine.
Screen size. Built for a desktop or laptop. It opens on a phone and everything works, but the layout assumes a wide screen and will feel cramped. A tablet held sideways is fine.
Two things that look like faults but are not:
If something looks wrong, check your browser version first — likeliest cause, quickest to rule out. The Troubleshooter in the Tools menu also reports sync, duplicate and thumbnail problems.
Click 🛠️ Tools in the top bar (hover or click to open it) to find: Spreadsheet, Save, Post, Export Sheet, and Download Latest. The 🔄 Sync button stays outside this menu on its own — it turns yellow while waiting for the next scheduled auto-sync, and green while a sync is actively running.
Click Spreadsheet (inside Tools) to see every tile across every sphere in one table. Most rows are freely editable — no key needed. Rows marked with a 🔒 belong to centrally managed spheres (like the Advertising sphere or ones pushed from your Google Sheet); clicking into one of those pops up a prompt asking for the shared Admin Key. Enter it once and every locked row unlocks — but only for 30 minutes, after which it automatically re-locks itself and you'll need to enter the key again. You can:
Export (downloading your tile data as JSON or CSV) and opening links from tiles both stay available to everyone, since neither one changes anything.
Paste a Google Apps Script URL into Remote URL and click Pull Data or Sync Now to pull tiles in from a shared spreadsheet. Supported columns: sphere, spherename, sid, title, url, type, text, thumb.
drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=... format works wellSet AUTO-SYNC to a time interval so it refreshes automatically without you clicking anything — the Sync button will glow yellow while it's counting down to the next run.
Click Post (inside Tools) to send a message that appears in the banner for everyone using this app. You'll need the shared Admin Key to post — ask whoever manages this app if you don't have it. A post automatically expires after 15 minutes or when someone posts something new, whichever comes first.
When nothing's been posted, the banner rotates through a few default messages instead — including one that lets you email a friend a link to download this app.
In the top bar you'll find "Republic military outreach group" with Join? and Question? links, plus a helmet icon — click or hover the helmet for a popup with the same options. Both send you straight to a pre-filled email to the outreach team.
One sphere is always reserved for advertising and always appears first in the tab row. It's centrally managed — its tiles can't be edited, deleted, or moved without the Admin Key, and it can't be deleted at all. A small twinkling star for each of its tiles appears fixed in the top-left corner of the canvas; click a star to open that ad's link. The stars automatically rotate which one is "up front" every 15 seconds — hover over them to pause the rotation while you look. If you focus on a different sphere, the stars shrink and fade into the background until you look away. A small "Advertise?" link next to its tab lets anyone email an inquiry about advertising here.
The calendar in the bottom-left is minimized by default — hover over it to expand. Use the ‹ and › arrows to browse other months. Days with events show a small dot — click one to see the event time(s) and title(s).
To connect your own calendar, paste your calendar's public iCal/ICS feed link into the box at the bottom of the calendar and click Connect — every major calendar app (Google, Outlook, Apple) can generate one of these from its sharing/settings page. It reconnects automatically the next time you open the app.
The clock in the bottom-right shows US Eastern time; hover it to see your own local time too.
The Save button (inside Tools) stores your current spheres, tiles, and settings in this browser only — it does not create a file you can share, and it won't survive clearing your browser's data. Most changes (editing a tile, syncing, etc.) already save automatically; this button is mainly a manual double-check.
When you get a new version of this file, do all of these so everyone actually receives it:
Once that's done, anyone still on an older version will see the download icon pulse amber and get a one-time notification within about 5 minutes, without you needing to contact them individually.
The steps above are the manual route. The Apps Script project also holds Release.gs, whose publishRelease function does the same job in one run: it takes the new APP_VERSION, writes it to the LATEST_VERSION script property, and updates vsphereversion.txt in Drive, so the update banner and the version check both read the same number.
Open the Apps Script project, pick publishRelease from the function dropdown, and run it. Two things are worth knowing. It does not upload the HTML file — that is still a Manage versions upload in Drive, so do that first or members are told about a version they cannot download yet. And setting the version by hand in one place while the script sets it in another is the usual cause of an update banner that will not go away: let one of the two own it rather than mixing them.
After 15 minutes of inactivity, a screensaver appears — a human figure with all seven chakras, circled by a transparent Merkabah of two triangles slowly spinning in opposite directions. Every minute, focus shifts to the next chakra up the body, lighting it in its colour and playing its tone. This isn't a lock screen — moving the mouse, typing or tapping ends it instantly, and nothing is blocked while it runs.
The seven tones, in the order they play:
| Chakra | Frequency | Colour | Position |
|---|---|---|---|
| Root | 396 Hz | ■ Red | Base of the spine |
| Sacral | 417 Hz | ■ Orange | Lower abdomen |
| Solar Plexus | 528 Hz | ■ Amber | Upper abdomen |
| Heart | 639 Hz | ■ Green | Centre of the chest |
| Throat | 741 Hz | ■ Blue | Throat |
| Third Eye | 852 Hz | ■ Indigo | Brow |
| Crown | 963 Hz | ■ Violet | Top of the head |
These are the Solfeggio frequencies. Each is generated by the browser at that exact value rather than approximated, so it really is 528.00 Hz, and the current chakra and its frequency are shown on screen while the screensaver runs. A full pass through all seven takes seven minutes.
Worth being straight about: the pairing of particular frequencies with particular chakras is a wellness tradition, not a finding of physics or medicine. The tones are exact and the colours are as listed — what they are said to do is a matter of belief rather than something demonstrated. Said plainly here so nobody is caught out by the question.
Other sounds in the app are not part of this set: the post horn is a low blast around 233 Hz with a 117 Hz undertone, and Read Aloud uses whichever voice your browser provides.
Click 🛠️ Tools → 🌙 Launch Screensaver to trigger it manually any time. There you can pick between the Chakra/Merkabah visual or an alternate sacred-geometry fractal, choose to start it right away or after a short delay, set how long it should run for before stopping on its own, and set the volume.
The run-for setting is a maximum, not a minimum — moving the mouse still ends the screensaver at any point. The volume slider is shared with the one shown while the screensaver is running, and is remembered between sessions. The mute button returns to your previous level when you unmute.
Click the 🔊 button in the top bar any time to mute or unmute it instantly.
Start after:
Click 🛠️ Tools → 🩺 Troubleshooter to run a quick health check: confirms your Remote URL is set (and offers to restore the known one if it's missing), scans every sphere for duplicate or oversized tile sets with a one-click fix, and tests every thumbnail link to flag any that are broken.
If something you were told was fixed doesn't seem to have changed, you're very likely opening an older saved copy of this file rather than the latest one — make sure you're overwriting the exact file you normally open, not just downloading a new copy alongside it.
If clicking into a field in the Configuration Spreadsheet keeps re-prompting for the Admin Key even after you've entered it, double-check you typed it correctly — a wrong key won't unlock anything, and the prompt will keep reappearing on locked rows until a correct key is accepted.
